Book a session

Here’s a quick rundown on how it works to book a photo session.

  1. Contact me to schedule a time. Please don’t hesitate to ask all the questions you want. We can consult in person or by phone. We’ll go over what to expect, what you should bring, and what you want to get out of your photo session. There is never any rush or hassle — we’ll work out a time that works for everyone’s schedule.
  2. Book a session. In a time frame that’s mutually agreed upon, and a location convenient to you. Typical sessions include a half hour of prep time for you, an hour of shooting in poses that you like and poses that we suggest. There is no limit on outfit changes within the time scheduled. Most models like to have 6-10 outfits available, although as few as 3 and as many as 20 are doable within an hour.
  3. Shoot your photos. Your hour session is all about you. If you are experienced in posing, we’ll go right ahead and get started. If you’re not, that’s okay too! Our photographer will be able to guide you into photos that are right for you and flattering to your look. After all, we share the same goal: shooting your best photographs! And yes, you are welcome to bring a friend or significant other to hang out. Many models find that this makes them feel more comfortable, which results in better photos.
  4. Delivery. Usually within a week, you will receive your edited photos via e-mail for your review. If you have any questions or concerns, photos can be tweaked for color, lighting, and possible retouching within reason, and re-sent. Once you are happy with your photos, they’re yours to keep. If you’d like prints or a photo album made, we can proceed with that at this time.

Pricing

  • The initial consultation is free. Most models prefer to do this over text, e-mail, or a quick call, but in person is certainly an option as well. We want to make sure everything is right before we proceed and set up a shoot.
  • Session pricing starts at $150. This includes a half hour of prep time for you and an hour of shooting. Additional shoot time is $100/hour, and additional services such as video can be quoted during your initial consultation.
